Downloading a patch now. I wonder if part of this patch is the embedding into Steam.

I didn't purchase my game through Steam and haven't seen any patches yet - do I need to run my updater every time I launch, or will my game update automatically??

Not feeling the patch love. Downloaded it via steam. Launch the game to continue my campaign, and the game disappears to desktop after clicking "Resume Game".

My DVD version of the game has been updating automatically when I load and connect to the 'net. I get a version check prompt screen while loading, then it downloads an update if one is available.

Last night was a bit 'rough', I've only had 1 crash to desktop up until last evening when I had 3. 2 CTD and 1 "Freeze". I know a few other people were having problems with it as well.
