I've updated the server to include the 2 new maps.

Arica Harbor Conquest
levels/mp_006cq

Laguna Presa: Rush
levels/mp_009cr

You can use BC2 Guardian to shift to them to check them out. Use the "Get" command.

Note that there are still some bugs being reported...let me know if you have any issues with these maps - including loading them.

I was on a server that had a beta for auto balance, and it worked pretty well. 32 players and never more that 2 ppl off........maybe look into that as well........but thanks Squid!

Are they really new maps though? The names are the same as 2 of the current maps just different play styles than are currently available. Still be cool to try them in a different mode.

Last night the server was on Conquest, I thought we were going to be playing TDM matches.

Nothing has been decided, but if you learn to use the admin console you can switch to whatever mode and map you want.

We switch off and on depending on the number of people present, etc. I usually have admin console open at all times so we can switch it up. I believe Kidd does as well.

With last weeks too many hands in the cookie jar, I am staying clear of the admin console for now. Plus I didn't have a headset to use so I couldn't communicate with anyone on it.

Ditto what Stitch said, although I always have a laptop running next to my gaming rig. If it'll save someone the hassle of having to alt-tab out of the game, I can start running it from there.

Same here. Not just to be able to quickly switch, but I find it really neat to be able to track K/D, teams, etc, quickly during the match. Plus when I'm not on, I'll occasionally check to see who's on.

I have it running on my second monitor with Ventrilo - I just do a quick alt-tab which puts the game into a window and then I can access the admin console then just click anywhere on the game window and it returns to full screen.

That's probably what most folks do, Hy. I just have a single-monitor-sized workstation in my computer room. It's a pretty small room.
