Clay,

As you may know, I'm a Google / Android *fan boy* fan *whore*. HTC has a couple of really interesting Android based phones in the pipeline. I'm not sure I'm a fan of their customized interface, but with Android - you can usually apply your own home screen applications that are available in the marketplace. I'm not sure if that's the case with the HTC Sense interface - but I'm just "assuming".

I absolutely love my Droid. I took a couple of months after it's release before I bought it and I'm glad I did the research and comparisons. Even today, I'm not sure if I would have picked the Nexus One over the Droid if they were both available on Verizon at the time. The Nexus One is certainly faster, but I like the form of the Droid, although I now use the actual keyboard less and less every day due to the ShapeWriter application for typing.
