    Just picked up an M1 Garand

    Just bought an H&R M1 at the show this weekend. I've been wanting another M1 for years.

    I think the scuff marks on the stock actually add to the visual appeal of the gun. Very nice indeed. When I'm ready to buy a rifle this one is on the top of my list.

    For fun, the military practice targets for that rifle are attached. They are .pdf files reduced for 100 yards, and you can print them on your PC on regular paper.

    In regulation:
    200 yd = standing and sitting
    300 yd = prone rapid fire
    600 yd = prone slow fire.

    200 yard regulation is "SR".
    300 yard regulation is "SR-3C", overlaid onto "SR"
