Not bad at all. Plays nice, has some very cool on screen effects. However I find it hard to accept that it has to come with a $59.99 price tag for the PC version. At that price I might get the PS3 version and know I'll never have to worry about hacks/cheats (outside of possible console coded exploits).

EA in it's 11th hour has decided to take the name "Taliban" out of the enemy players team and has changed it to "Opposing Force". This type of last minute decision is unacceptable in my book and I would urge everyone to not puchase this game as a result of it. The game was designed with realism in place, all this attention to detail and they have to back off because 'Taliban' is too sensitive a word for people to hear. Anyone who plays it, knows exactly who you are fighting. I am extremely disappointed in EA for doing this.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.

Anyone playing this? It's taken a few matches to get the hang of it, but it's pretty good. I wish the landscapes were more expansive; as it is everyone is bunched up so expect to die a lot.

I'll be online tomorrow (Sat.) if anyone wants to give it a go.

I do, but I have a pretty busy day. I am not traveling next week for once, so I am ready to try online.

It's similar to BF-2 Bad Company, but much faster.
    The ranking system is slower.
Sniping is more realistic in that your sight bobs as your avitar breathes, but there is a "hold breath" function for zeroing in on the target.
    Little to no vehicle play.
All in all...I would wait for it to go on sale, IMO.

Guns haven't been tweaked enough: easy to kill with shotgun at 40 meters as it is with the AK-47 and the pistol.

    Graphics are nice

Game play is much faster... you run and die a bunch

Although it uses the Frostbite engine the destructible buildings aren't as prevalent. Shooting an RPG a a block wall should open a nice hole... it doesn't. Missile and mortar strikes don't take out ceilings or walls either.

Probably not worth the $59 I paid... maybe closer to $39.

:-( wish you saved the $59. You could have put it towards Black Ops.
