set the configuration sting "online-mode=false" in your config, and the server wont do a doublecheck on your logins.

I had done that the other day, but when we were testing we would knock each other off because we were both logging in as "player". Of course, this was during the time period where hitting the initial authentication server wasn't working, so we would go offline mode. Once everything started working again, I stopped the search to find a way around that.

BUT -- The good news is that yesterday's patch seems to have worked wonders! Squid, Rocks, Fu, and myself were all able to get in on the first shot!

FYI All - Another game client came out today, and they are expecting a new server client. I'll verify that the server is up when I get home. If it isn't, don't be shocked if there is a little (hopefully /KnockOnWood) downtime while I get it straitened out.

Minecraft is reminding me of the old days when Medal of Honor:Allied Assault first came out, and everyone was running some type of dedicated server that didn't run right.

Awesome Zero Punct!!!

And ironically, you're railroad was our first test in anti-griefing. I logged on the ledge, it was dark and 2 creepers were standing right there. Wham almost instantly everything blew up.. so nobody else was on the server - i shut it down, fired up the backup, had Fu log in to advance the clock, logged in and everything was there.

By far not the most conclusive test and it has a ton of holes which we're working on. But at least I didn't accidentally destroy you're work!

And btw - I can't wait to check out that railroad! Nice start.
