this is what has taken me from WOW. I have a private server running, without a bunch of friends and family on it. I cant get enough of it.
The game won Game of the year from PC Gamer in EUR, and a ton of prizes from the indy game league, including the grand prize. And the game just went beta last month!
There are content packs coming out soon. one to come out this week or next (to include a new water mob, as well as paint if they can get the logic right)
If your playing on single player mode... have you gone to the nether world yet? Soon that will be the only way to get "forever lighting"
Ill see if i can get access to another server and ill set up a Minecraft server for AK.

ya, I tried the free browser version and can definitely see how it could become addictive. I didn't see any MOBS yet though, is that only in the real version? It's pretty neat how large the landscape is. I started building a brickyard track. ;-)

If anyone wants it i still have a copy of the old Single Player test version. It auto updates to the latest version, so basically its a free single player only version. If anyone wants it, shoot me an email address to send it to. I will try to take the time to setup my FTP Server on my new shinny router this week. When i do ill post it there. If you guys already have an FTP somewhere, let me know and ill upload it.
