I've always been interested in family history, ancestry etc. My grandmother always told me we were of German descent (which may still be true), but my investigation of just following my surname from father to father led me to ...... Le France. All that money spent on bratwurst making classes and beer steins is for naught. It's off to learn to make a perfect rue and some brie. La merde!

I'm adopted, so I just pick random places and pretend my family is from there. I could be Irish! Or Persian! Or Korean! Ok probably not the last 2, but it is a fun guessing game.
