    Tribes Classic

Broke out the Tribes 2 disc and loaded it on my new box. First time I've played it in I don't know how long. Not nearly as many servers as there used to be nor players, but it was still a lot of fun!!!

Actually ran into NR on one of the servers.

Ah, I missed the good old days when we were all tribing....

I'm with ya there, DD. T:V never seemed to catch on. Does it have any players at all these days? But a trip back to T2 might be fun.

I installed it a little while back but couldn't get any of the servers to show, so I gave up. Was really wanting to play it again too.

    Hey guys!
I saw two old players I recgonized. NR, being one of them and this other guy from CPA. But, there was definitely not the same numbers of players that it used too. Still, it was a great time.

NR still playing tribes. It's like the old horror movie saying "When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth."

I suspect in 10 years he'll be on a server (that he owns) alone, setting up turrets and waiting for flag cappers that will never come.

And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.

I'm still laughing over that one. And at the same time I wonder if I wouldn't try at run at that flag.

Has anybody heard whether we're ever likely to see another Tribes game? I would had to think that T:V killed the series.

I think that T:V was not all that good of a game. It did not live up to the hype. I never really enjoyed T2 that much either. For me I liked the feel of Tribes the original and I allways liked to play on the Warzone mod. That was such a great mod to the game. If I could find a copy of that mod I would get back into the old game and kick it around a bit for a good old time.

The sound is all about the wood and the pickups. Bartolini all the time...
