Sorry, I had been meaning to follow up on this. I shut it down a few weeks ago due to the lack of usage and the P.I.T.A. of continuously updating it.
I can get it back online tonight and post the IP info. Other options are someone else can take on hosting it. OR I can update it, then back up the world files, and make it available for download so everyone can save a copy off for themselves.
Whatever you guys want to do. My interest in playing fizzeled when I came to the realization that I have very little artistic ability and was becoming very frustrated trying to build what I envisioned in my mind. The other part was the crazy changes going on with modding and whatnot. Due to all of the minor releases, it became quite a pain to try and keep up with them.
No, that's OK. I was just curious. I watched the Minecraft Middle-Earth video and thought I'd try to login and see what if anything was new in the world.

I can take over the hosting if it's something we'd still like to use. We can either start a new server or I can get the files from Ozz and put our world back together. Can't guarantee 100% uptime, but it'll be hosted on the same box as the FTP server, so it'll be about the same as that.

Up and running, though Mojang's auth service appears to be having problems. See the private forums for URL and port.
Having problems logging in. I went out to the Minecraft website where I requested a password change. I can login to the website fine but the in game login keeps failing. Any ideas?

I had the exact same problem and it turned out to be a Very out of date client. I'd recommend downloading the latest version of the client and giving it another go.

Exactly what Oz said--deleting the client and redownloading cured my login woes too.
That was it. I'm in. I'm building a little hovel within site of Squidly's place.

Back up this morning. The automatic reboot I had planned for Wednesday night got pushed back to Thursday, and I wasn't in the office to bring the MC service back online until just now.
