Gotcha - that's just the FA process in the league.

Just an FYI: Here are the rules for waivers in general. We keep the default 2 days.

For Free Agents, the $100 budget you have for the season does not apply. You should be able to pick up a FA at any time if he is available. The FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget) - which is a bad name since it's about waivers, not free agents.

In a Free Agents Acquisition Budgets (FAAB) waivers system, each manager receives a dollar amount to place blind bids on waived players. The manager with the highest bid at the end of the waiver period claims that player and that bid amount is deducted from the team's acquisition budget. If multiple managers place an equal bid on a player, the tiebreaker is the Weekly rolling list based on standings: Waiver claims are processed in reverse order of standings and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list.

Please note:
FAAB does not apply to Free Agents. All free agents are able to be acquired on a first come - first serve basis, without bids.

There is currently no option to have all players on waivers full time.

The FAAB system charges you the exact amount you bid if your bid is successful. For example, it will never adjust your bid to beat any other bids by $1.

The commissioner can manually edit FAAB budgets for teams in the league at anytime throughout the season using the commissioner's tools.

You can submit $0 bids, and if no one else bids more, you will be able to claim that player.
