    Wow, been forever!

Just scrolling through the web and came across this again LOL reminiscing of the good all days! How’s everybody doing? Post a reply and say hi and what your doing now days!
Myself just driving trains for UP and camping a lot. My kids talked me into playing call of duty war zone and I’m actually enjoying the hell out of it. Kicking their ass on PC while they battle me on their PlayStation and Xbox since it is cross platform.
    Still gaming?

    Still kicking...

I haven't been doing a whole lot of "gaming" in recent time, as I spend almost all of my "gaming" time on the iRacing simulation. I even just took two months off from that to get caught up on some other interests / projects. When I do game, it's usually just CIV VI. I did play Battlefield for awhile, but haven't done any of that in about a year. I just today received controllers that were backordered forever for my VALVE Index so I will probably be trying out Half-Life: Alyx in VR. If I had more time, I'd love to get into Elite Dangerous, fly in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I'm really looking forward to the new Star Wars: Squadrons in VR.

Hey, FC. Thanks for posting. I've been thinking of retiring the forums for good, but there are still a few ghosts around here, apparently.

Hylander, I'm waiting on a pre-ordered HP Reverb G2 (rumored release is mid-September). Once I have it, maybe we could play a multiplayer VR game or two. Getting a crew together for Star Trek Bridge Crew or Iron Wolf would be fun.

Hey Palooka - I'd definitely be up for that. I'm interested in seeing the final product for the HP G2. I really like my Index a lot, it's the most comfortable headset I've ever worn and the ear speakers are simply phenomenal. I've tried most mainstream VR headsets now from Oculus Rift (all versions but Quest), Odyssey, Odyssey+, Reverb, PIMAXs, etc. I've never tried Star Trek Bridge Crew, but it looks like it could be fun. Are they still developing it?

As far as the forums go, I usually stop by once or twice a year just to see if anything has been posted. I just so happened to check yesterday and saw that FC had posted.

The Reverb G2 is lighter and supposedly more comfortable than the Index, and it has the exact same audio solution. It also has better resolution and clarity thanks to 2160x2160 to both eyes and superior lenses. Since you already have the Knuckles, you'd have the best possible VR setup if you swapped out the Index for the Reverb G2 and used the Knuckles with it (which reportedly works perfectly well).

Sadly, I think Bridge Crew is nearly dead; the last time I played, it was a struggle to get a full crew together. Some of the most fun I've had in VR was in that game, though. We'd just need two other people.

    Still roaming around...

Still alive....mostly still playing WoW and some Battlefield still. I see Rocks and Hardnock showing their faces in WoW every once in a while also.
