    Gone this Weekend

    My dad just took a tumble down a flight of stairs, and he's in the emergency room now. I'll probably be gone all weekend and miss Sunday's practice.

    My dad died Thursday night. He fell while climbing the stairs at home, fractured his skull, and died an hour later from cerebral hemmorage.

    I'm pretty depressed right now, so I'll probably be off the radar screen for another week or so.

    Leo, I am so sorry.....

    My family's prayers go out to you and yours.....

    I play organized flag football in a men's league....
    We were playing our first play-off game yesterday....
    We had the best record in the league, 9-1.....
    We lost to a team that we beat 40-6 in the regular season....
    But, my Dad was there to watch my game and because of that it was all worth it....
    I am 34 years old and having my Dad at the game is still huge for me....

    An old story....
    The student said to his Shaolin Master: Master, how do we mourn someone that we love?

    The Shaolin Master said to his student: When someone we love dies they become a greater part of us then they ever could have been when they were alive.....
