They used to shoot people for treason - didn't they. I think they'll probably just throw him in prison.

Dunno what he really did, other than fighting against Indians in Kasmir and the Northern Alliance (sounds like he did more running and getting shot than fighting...)

How much prison time do you serve for something like that?

The problem lies in the fact that he supposedly knew about Sept. 11th before it happened....
If that is true then it becomes much worse than just fighting against the North......

I think they will send him to prison for life....
Even though during time of war treason is punishable by death.....

It would be interesting to hear what Leo has to say about this case, I am sure he could shed some light on what they might do.....

IIRC, isn't he a prisoner of war of the Northern Alliance? If so, expect him to suffer tremendously.

I haven't heard anything that indicates he knew about the Sept 11th attacks BEFORE they happened. If you've got a source, please post it.

I have heard that he was pleased/in favor of the attacks. Sounds like something that is part and parcel of being brainwashed in one of those Pakastani religious schools.

I'm still wondering what kind of parents let their kid go off to Yemen at age 18 to learn Arabic.... Get a job, son, make some money.

I had heard it on one of the radio stations coming into work today that he knew about it before it happened.....

I flip on the radio in the morning more than I do on the TV at night.... lol.....

CNN.com has a transcript of an interview Larry King did with the father last night. Pretty 'supporting' father to support his kid studying in Yemen, Pakistan, etc at the age of 16 - 20.

Yeah, I just read that myself, I am trying to find out for sure what that kid knew.....
He is in the hands of the Special Forces, the father is thanking the Special Forces for having his son....... heh, I'm not so sure that is a great thing for the kid, they might be holding their own trial right now as we speak!!!
