There was some T:V action after release and some talks of playing it on the ladders.. but everyone found WoW.

Good to see you again, Okie! We had a T:V server for a while, but the die-hard Battlefield players are still enjoying that series, and most of those who aren't playing Battlefield have move on to World of Warcraft, like Slaughter said. Hope the new year finds you doing well...don't be a stranger!

T:V is utter crap. No, let me rehash that, it's worse that utter crap - saying it's utter crap is disrespectful to crap. I could ramble on and on about the tactically stupid multiplayer "options" which make this game much like a retarded stepcousin to mere consoles...but, alas.

I still drop into Tribes 2 from time to time. It's a much more enjoyable experience.

I gambled, and lost. One thing I absolutely hate is that your location on the "map" is always known by friendly and foe. That means you can't actually sneak up on anyone, can't be on some sniping party. There are absolutely no means to covertly organize. Your position and movements are immediately known by anyone who looks at the command map...for as long as their base sensor is working. If the base sensor is destroyed, they can't see enemy on the map. But, if it's working, the sensor has absolutely no limit. If you're on the map...the sensor sees you.

The game is so dumbed down it's not really a tactical game. It's just a graphically pretty version of Quake, where you're expected to spawn, die, and re-spawn every few seconds and be happy with it. Weapons...blow. Balance...blows.

The whole game blows. If they make a T:3, I won't be buying it - no matter what. They screwed the pooch as far as I'm concerned. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
