Some good news, some not so good news

Well the good news is I actually found a place to live in this over priced city.

The bad news is I highly doubt I will have an internet connection by the 6th for that get together. I will try to get on it at quick as possible, but phone companies will be phone companies.

As long as you have a standard phone and modem you could always get a free Net connection with www.netzero.com. It wouldn't be playable but you'd at least be able to show for the photo.

Frisco is an awesome city. I visited there a few years ago and had a great time. Of course, my work paid for everything so if I had to shell out my own $$$ I might think differently. I've heard that housing costs are unbelieveable.

Eating steamed soft shell crabs down at the pier with a pint of Anchor might be reason enough to stay.

Ahh..... Babylon by the Bay. Mild weather, incredible cultural diversity, world class art museums and concert venues, food of literally any description, convenient travel to ocean, mountains, wine country, coast and diversions to fit anyone's particular deviation. Wonderful place to visit, but having lived in Berserkeley for 6 years and usually visiting there at least once a year, I don't think I'd live there.

I know I can't afford to live there.
