Knights, any interest in setting up a Roger Wilco base station, as we used to have in the old days of Tribes 1? I'd be willing to volunteer my work PC to run it after hours (if it doesn't hog my resources too much, I'd be willing to run it in the background during my workday). My PC is a Win2K box on a T1, and is usually running 24/7.

It does suck..... I have yet to hear anybody clearly...only clips. We should do the RW thing.

I don't know about anyone else but when someone tries to talk through the built in voice chat I can not understand a word of it, just distorted static.

T2 voice chat does not work at all for me, tried messing with all the settings with no luck. I can't hear anything more than garbled static from others and from what I can tell others can't hear me at all either. I use Roger Wilco with Everquest a lot and it works dandy.

I dunno... I've had good results with the voice stuff in T2... Palooka and I and some other guy were using it the other night... everyone said they could hear me crystal clear... Maybe there's some fine tuning that needs to be done to make it work properly... I know that after the last patch they changed the menuing system on the Voice tab in settings... might take a look at that...

Since Dynamix changes the menu stuff in voice with their most current patch...voice communications stink for me.

In fact, I redjack like crazy now...I have to key mic just to clear it.

Server name is envy.oet.udel.edu

I'm not sure if it works using the server name, can someone test and get back to me?
