    Gamespy, is it worth it?

I used to use kali, but that has gone the way of the dinosuar. Looking for a new server finder. Anyone use Gamespy? Any good? It's got the onetime fee, but if its worth its weight, no big deal.

i think there are other free server finders out there, plus gamespy doesn't need to be purchased in order to find and launched games.

    Try The All-Seeing Eye... http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/

It's free, no adds and gamespy is COVERED in adds. You even have to wait for adds to play out before you can get to the server screens in gamespy. In my opinion is a far far superior product. Kinda what gamespy used to be before they became commercial.

Did I mention it is free with no adds? And when they update it the updates are downloaded and installed automaticaly.

Talk to some of the other guys here... "All Seeing Eye" has caused problems with at least one person's machine.

I don't care what you use as long as you show for practices and matches.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.

Yesh...the current incarnation of All-Seeing Eye causes my Win2K box to reboot itself whenever a T2 server is clicked on. Haven't tried it with any other games--haven't had the urge to reboot lately.
