    What I did on my President's Day vacation

    This was taken just a few hundred yards from the top of Mt. Dix - one of the high peaks of the Adirondack mountains.

    Yes, that's Bribo about 1.238 seconds prior to him walking AND sitting on rare, fragile and endangered plantlife.

    Brian and I like to fashion ourselves as outdoorsmen, what with his hiking and my diving. But here's Bribo and I in our true element - getting hammered during the Superbowl...

    ROFL.... That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that picture, how does Bribo know what he's stepping on.... LOL....

    Man, now there's two faces I wouldn't want to see walking down a dark alley at night.... lol

    You don't really need to worry to much about stepping on fragile plants since they are buried by about 5 feet of snow. The sign is more for the summer months when everything is exposed. To give you an idea of how deep that snow is, that sign is usually about 6 foot high during the summer.

    It was a different world up there. Everything was coated with ice and snow. It had a very alien feel to it. Quite beautiful.
