    Gothic

    This game got very little hype, but it's an amazing, amazing game if you're into single player RPGs at all. It's basically Baldur's Gate meets a current 3D engine. It's RPG in 3D with a totally immersive world. I've been playing PC games for about 12 years, and this one is in the top five of all time, along with Tribes and Thief.
