    Run Commands

what are the basis "Run" commands to check IP, settings, start up, etc?

I need to write these down...I forget them as fast as you guys have told me.

Try 'msconfig' to get Windows system info. From a DOS/cmd prompt use 'ipconfig' to get your current IP settings.

Must be some trick... whenever I've done that a brief command box opens then shuts immediately.
