I know this is a tech question but I put it in here becuase I need everyone to see this. I need to know where the cheapest place would be to get a geforce or geforce 2, since my "screaming" voodoo banshee doesn't cut it for tribes 2, in fact there are no textures and everything is a milky pink blob. My 1 kill in 3 days of trying was a luck shot on DB by aiming below the red arrow, which is white as well. I would appreciate any help from you guys. Also what is the difference between at Geforce2 GTS and an MX?

Don, try www.mwave.com. Those guys usually have good stuff at reasonable prices. On the flip side, I picked up my 3D Prophet GeForce II MX at Best Buy for $99.

Thanks Abaddon. My comp just isn't up to speed. How fast of a processor can you put in a slot 1 motherboard with a 100Mhz bus speed anyway? Without some insane overclocking that is.

Pricewatch is good, but be sure to check shipping charges before you sign on the dotted line. I have come across a few "bargins" via price watch that turned out not to be so hot when it was all added up.

The 32 meg GTS is a little more $$$ but it is a LOT faster than the MX. At a minimum, get the GTS. But what ever you do, avoid the MX200!
