    Unhappy Got Laid Off Today...

    So, it would seem that after 20 months of dutiful service to the big "N" that there no longer appears to be a position available to me in AOL as of today... Once again lack of vision at the top results in rolling heads at the peon level... God love corporate America... What this means for me, I have no idea at this point... Options are seemingly bleak today, and I'm not terribly sure what I even want to do any more, but I'll be sure to let you know what's up in the coming days... Hope all is well with you guys...     AOL sux. I know a lot of guys that got laid off at MapQuest when AOL moved their headquarters to Arlington.

    At first I thought Z was posting that he got laid.

    I was a bit astounded as to how this was big new considering the brood he is growing at home.

    But then I read the post and my confusion cleared up.

    You are young, Zorro and you know you will find something else to do. I hope they gave you a good booby prize, er, severence package so you can spend some quality time with the people close to you.

    The job market is extremely bleak out here in Seattle, no idea what it is like for you.
