Ugh, the internet was fast on my new computer, keyword was.. We have static in our line from something or other.. so we called sprint today.. "We can't come out to fix it until tomorrow".. Watch, they won't be here til next Tuesday.. So now I'm stuck with Downloading at 1-2k/sec and waiting upwards of 3 minutes for webpages to load... ugh.. this is so annoying..

Sorry to rant, but Tycho loathes the undead.. well I loathe the phone company.

I have been living with static for close to 3 months now... They can't figure out what is wrong. I always call them from the outside d-mark to show the static is from there system. My dsl will re-sync about 20 times a night. It gets really frustrating.. I am still trying to get it fixed.. Heck I might just switch to cable now.

    You guys have my sympathy!

I just got my 1.5/384 DSL back today after a week of 56K dial-up that connected at 40.0 most of the time. I'm not complaining as a week is not much to complain about when you get into moving into a new home and getting broadband.

My wife is off this week so she was home for the hook-up. I can't wait to get home and run it through my speed tests. I had her go to DSL Reports and it came in at 132,778 which is even better than my last connection which tested in the 120,000 most of the time.

Wait until I haul the second T1 in here... I have plans to go all the way up to 4 T1's before I relinquish the L337Hosting network to a datacenter... But that's a ways off yet...
