switched my sound option in the game to hardware, the game runs perfect now.
both single and online games are working excellent.
this is with the graphics maxed out too.

I don't lag at all single player /w bots, but I was lagging a lot on the busier multiplayer maps on the EA servers. I typically had a 50-60 ping.
I played around with my video and audio settings but it didn't seem to do much.
I think the server was overloaded or there were quite a few laggers connected.
Anyone have a similar experience?
My system:
1.4Gz Athlon Tbird
512MB
G2 MX 400 64MB
Windows ME
Cable hookup.
I have the game settings turned down fairly low. I'll post the specs when I get home if anyone's interested.
