    Well the 19in ProView monitor I had on my Linux box bit the dust yesterday. I can't even get the power light to come on as I changed power chords, etc. When I flip the switch on the back of the monitor all I hear is "tick, tick, tick" and that is never a good sign.

    So I just ordered one of these:

    ahh i saw one of those on CompUSA the other day, no kidding i drool for around 5 mins. the price was $2500 +/- right now i have a cheap 19" monitor at home, i wanted to get an lcd but for $500 i'm going to get a 21" or 22" CRT monitor.
