    Howdy

Squidly recommended checking out your page.

He says that playing with a clan is much, much better than lurking on the public servers. I thought what the hell.

I play BF1942 and RtCW. I've played Q3A, UT, and most major mods for them. I've played a little CS and TF, but find the Halflife engine lacking in compairson to Q3A & UT.

In RtCW I played mainly on the One Life to Live servers and enjoy the team aspect of it.

I've never been in a FPS clan.

I have been in UO & DaoC guilds in the past. In fact, I played UO for more than 4 years...

As far as FPS clans, I'm not sure how you all communincate. Is it voice com or IRC? Do you all have second computers for communincations? What voice com do you use?

How does a clan have a server? Do you all pitch in and rent one? Does someone have a DS3 running to their house?

On a personal note, I'm married with two young daughters, living on the west coast. I can't usually play any earlier than 8:30PM Pacific.

Lastly, hard to believe, but my middle name is actually 'August'. It was my grandfather's name...

Hey there Argyle... glad to see you made it.

I think you'll find that you fit right in with our demographics...

One of our members, Zorro, owns an ISP, which explains this site, and our server
    (August Knights BF 1942).

For voice comms, we use "Teamspeak". Download Teamspeak 2.0 at:

    This location

It can take a bit of tweaking which we can help you with.

Practices are Monday and Wednesday at 9:00 EST, but we are often on later than that the rest of the week... Someone will follow up soon with an email which will contain the specifics with regards to our Teamspeak server ip, password and server password.

    Lastly, we're more than just a clan of BF1942'ers... we're a group of friend/gamers.
BF1942 is simply the current passion...

Hope to see you on the server soon.
