I saw Kiss Of The Dragon about an hour ago. If you like all action and very little plot, go see it. I though it was awesome.
As far as im concerned, theres nothing better than watching Jet Li kick some corrupted french cop ass. emphasis on french...:P

Thanks for the critique. I been hemming and hawing about whether to see that. It sounded intriguing and there are times I like a no-brainer action flick.

I agree, I thought that movie rocked. Some of the best fighting scenes I have ever seen. On the other end of things I saw Final Fantasy, and that movie just looks amazing. I need to go see it again just to make sure I saw everything. At times its a bit confusing, but I think I followed it pretty well.

Yes but The fast and the Furious is better than both of them. Pure action, little romance. God I love those cars. *drool*

I just saw Final Fantasy last night, and I second Pixelsponge's opinion. That one will be added to my DVD collection when it comes out. Voice acting was great, and the animation just blew me away. Plot was maybe a little cliched at times, but I was too caught up in the coolness of it to notice. I can see where the plot would be confusing to some, but if you're even a casual fan of scifi and/or fantasy, you should be able to follow it with no problem. Even my girlfriend, who's not a fan of computer animation like me and has never even seen the FF games, really liked it.

personally, i didn't like it because it was filled with one-liners and the story is really, really crappy.

i'd say gone in sixty seconds was better, but the whole love story between cage and jolie (she's a strange one, isn't she?) was useless. at least they got the cars right.

Sure the plot was dumb, and so was the ending for that matter....but still, the cars were cool

that whole truck hijacking stuff was totally bs. you can't get a car under those; except for the geo metro, but those aren't considered a car.

Actually you can get those under a trailer.. theres a couple in town where I live that can fit under a trailer.. only problem they have is speed bumps. :-P

those trailers are lifted then. standard trailers are too low for a car to fit under.

except, of course, for the geo. i won't go into another joke for those four wheel mopads.
