One thing to consider, though. I knew someone was going to make a comparison to nuclear weapons and it's relevance to our second amendment regarding what our founding fathers originally intended.

Regarding our first amendment, our founding fathers didn't envison the television, radio, or the Internet. Perhaps they shouldn't be protected, either.

I wish I had an answer, but I don't. I also suspect that this is a main reason the Supreme Court hasn't heard any case representing a direct challenge to the second amendment since the late 1930's.
