Ugh, another WinXP issue...

What the hell is going on here?! I never had these problems before! Anyways, I'm having a "minor" issue. My screen saver works but only for a little while, maybe a half hour. After that the screen saver stops and my desktop comes back up. Then that's it. The screen saver doesn't come back on. It was on all of last night in fact! Has anyone else had this issue? I really don't want to ruin my monitor since I can't afford a new one at this point.

Another task running in the background might be conflicting with the screen saver. Check your system using msconfig.
