Didn't mean to snub you back in one of those political posts. I just got a little excited in the heat of the moment. Looks like things are going well for you and I'm glad to hear it. It's been a while since you lived in Truckee. I'm sure you don't miss the winters! We have a dry cold front in right now. It may not be Minnesota but it still bites to the bone.

Not a chance DD! It's all ancient history. Time waits for no man. If I lingered in the past too long, I would be stifled by it. I do however have a joke for you from my mother-in-law with a touch of political sting. You see I'm fortunate enough to be surrounded by families of heartland conservatives.

hmmm never had a democrat in the family... so going back a couple hundred years none of them were Republicans?.. Because if my studies have been correct then todays Democrats are this countries true republicans. *as in they were the republicans when this country was founded.

Hi Moon,

I'll be back in Truckee this August for a honeymoon :-). I really miss it ... even the winters. I miss skiing every time I go in my closet and see all that gear waiting in there. And I want to see snow again! Hopefully Stephanie and I will go skiing up there next winter at Christmas time.
