Anyone else picked up Freelancer yet?

I remember seeing cheats the day it was released. I played a few single player missions to get a handle on the controls then went multiplayer to see what it was like. I am realy glad it is more than just a deathmatch, it was the same vast single player universe with all AI included without the story line.

I should dust this game off, I never did complete the game though I do know I was close. I played a significant amount of multiplayer though.

When are they going to patch the game? I don't expect they will be able to do much about cheating but they were going to add a lot of cool stuff to the game.

If you post a server you frequent and my ping to it is OK I would create a character there sometime.

It's a little late to be grave-robbing this thread, but I just snagged this a couple weeks ago. I've only played the single player thus far, and I'm loving it. Good story, decent friend/enemy mechanics...it's like Wing Commander meets Morrowind, and I mean that in a good way. I haven't taken it online yet, and if it's as full of cheaters as it was when this thread was alive, I'll probably skip that part of it.
