Very nice... I linked it on my page. You'd think they'd have figured it out by now.
The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles.
Wow. That was a hell of an article.
On another note, I don't think America will ever be able to do anything to satisfy the Arab world, short of nuking Tel Aviv.
Years from now, when Iraq is functioning as a democracy governed by their own and they enjoy a Western standard of living, the Arab world will still regard us as a piece of shit.
I'm truly in favor of trying to move toward cost effective, non fossil-fuel based energy technologies.
Hasta,
Boom
*ahem* morons...
Think they will ever learn that Communism doesn't work? They should've stuck to Czardom..

The fact of the matter is that the Arab world has been sold out by their "leaders". They are mistreated and put down and their anger is purposely directed outward by their governments other countries. Israel and the US are convenient scapegoats.
When something like what happened today comes about it shakes the very foundation of everything they've been led to believe.
Despotic governments around the Middle East have to be worried tonite.

Europeans
My favorite part:
Schroder, French President Jacques Chirac and Russian chief Vladmir Putin are due to sketch out their vision of Iraq's future in St. Petersburg Friday.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.
*ahem* Screw the UN, France, Germany and Russia... if they think they are going to run that country I think they are sadly mistaken... And why was Oil such a big point in that article too?.. I mean, we are to believe that this isn't a war for oil... do they want to move in on the black gold now?The three leaders, who have led Europe's anti-war brigade since the start of the stand-off between Washington and Baghdad, want the United Nations -- rather than the United States -- to control Iraq after the fighting ends.
