Who all is gonna Play this?

To be honest I am reserving judgement. I am having fun when I play it but have less time to play. When I do play I actualy want to hook up with other people but the last few squads I have decided to join blew chunks, idiots.

The addiction that was building has retreated. I want to see what it is like with a lot of people on, then I will probably be all over it.

Also I just picked up a new game for my PS2 that is very cool. If anyone has one you should check out Midnight Club II. It's made by the same people that made Grand Theft Auto. Driving cars super fast through a wide open city is so cool, the capture the flag mode ONLINE is amazingly cool. You got "power up" weapons, not true weapons but if you activate it and touch an opponent you make them slam on the emergency bracke, unexpectedly nitro boost, reverse their steering, etc... One flag, one goal, both appear randomly after each capture, teams or no teams the mayhem is incredible. Oh, and you can have motercycles against cars for some interesting results, bikes are fast but clip em and they are down.

Midnight Club II is comming out for the XBOX next month, I'll probably trade in the PS2 version for it as it is XBOX Live enabled and the graphics will likely be better. If you want a good race game for a console online and are not too concerned about realism (I normaly prefer realistic race games but this one is the exception, it is fun) then definetly this game is for you.

When I tire of Midnight Club a bit I'll probably dive back into PS. If open beta goes well and the AK like it I'll go for it. Otherwise I have no interest in going solo.

Remember SWG is comming out and it may kick or suck ass.

I just got my beta acceptance last night as well. I'll definitely be checking it out in beta phase, but I'm not clear on whether or not it's pay-to-play as a final version. If it is, I won't be playing--money's tight enough as it is for me. If not, I'll pick it up if it's something everyone else seems to be into.

I'd like to get in on this with you guys. Has that nice T2 feel with the warfare but I think the strats could get nasty. I mean there will be a communities of inner squads within the same republics. Coordinated assaults on specific objectives between individual teams or squads. A heavy team, a recon team, assaulters etc. Seems like it could be a helluva lot of fun. Instead of matches we plan attacks Wed night at 9p with other "teams" to take down these objectives. I dunno. I'm intrigued.

Me too, Badwill. It'll take awhile until we are advanced enough to execute everything smoothly (need the certs for vehicles, weapons and armor, and hacking) but it's going to be fun.

If the game comes out when it is supposed too. I think I may jump in on it too. But if it get's delayed then forget it. it can sit on the shelf along with SWG forever as far as I'm concerned.
