    A one sentence review for you short attention span types.

    Single player features broken AI and a generic storyline, but the great graphics and vast number of weapons combine with smooth net-code to make multiplayer an orgasmic spasm of fun.

    I see Squid also picked up Grand Theft Auto III.

    You should have waited for GTA: Vice City which is coming out for the computer any time now. I liked it better (for the PS2) than GTA III. Over 90 real liscenced songs from the 80's playing on the radio station. And it will have the ability to create your own radio station with your own MP3's. And it has motercycles and helicopters to steal, plus everything that GTA III had. The city is also twice as big with more straight a ways to speed down.

    I am just biased toward Vice City, I liked it better than III. Some disagree with me though. I just like the idea of jacking a Harly type bike and tooling around town, plus on a bike you can shoot your uzi forward, makes a good gun platform.

    I'm looking forward to Vice City. I loved GTA III on the PC, and Vice City looks a lot better. I think it's scheduled for realease in mid-May.

    By the way, Mafia is a great game if you can't wait for Vice City. I just got it last weekend, and I'm thoroughly impressed with it.

    Shades

    Midnight Club II is a fantasic game, also made by Rockstar Games. I am not sure how it would translate to the PC.

    I have GTA III and GTA: Vice City for the PS2. I may pick it up for the PC but I've already done 100% completion on the PS2 for both.

    I am going to get Mafia for the XBOX. I am also going to get Midnight Club II for the XBOX (trade in with my PS2 version) just because I love that game and having voice coms for XBOX Live will rock.

    Vice City is well worth the price if you liked GTA III. Some like GTA III better just because they did not see enough new for Vice City. It seemed the perfect follow up to me. Everything the first was with extras.
