    Xbox Games

I think it was Widowmaker who was telling us about Midnight Club 2 being a awesome game. Well I'm getting it right now for the xbox and I am excited to play it. I got Brute Force and Hulk the other day and both games are really good. Brute Force is sort of like a Squad Based 3rd person HALO in a way. But I have been having fun with it so far. Hulk is really cool because it's sort of 3D with cell shading, very cool. If all goes well I'll be bringing my custom Xbox to the LanParty next weekend. So at least Squidly and Bribo will be able to check it out.

What about your XBox makes it "custom"?

I'll be bringing my 2.4 GHZ Shuttle PC in addition to my main PC, so when Chooz stops by he'll have a "home". Sounds like we're gonna be doing some "live" Planetside playing during the free play segment.

Bought Midnight Club II today. When I get home I may have some time to mess around with it but got some real life things to do. I did find a list of cheat codes so I *may* not have to go through the whole game again.

One thing about Midnight Club. The game is no joke, it is tough to complete without cheating. I did it once on the PS2, not sure if I want to go through all of it again but I will if I have to. I love having all the cars (and the rocket car kicks butt).

I am realy wanting to see if the graphics are any different than the PS2 version. I doubt they are but it would be nice if they took some advantage of the XBox graphics engine. Mostly I wanted it so I could voice chat while on-line

Not that I have time for any game at the moment. But this amount of work won't go on forever. What a time to have almost half your team out on vacation.

Midnight Club 2 is good! I was surprised by it. I would have been happier if the cars presented my realistic damage modifiers but still it's good. I like the 'Fast and the Furious' feeling from playing it. I'm looking forward to gettting more in-depth with it.

It gets better, once you have unlocked all the "skills" (like In Air Control using weight transfer, Turbo, Slipstream turbo, burnout, two wheel driving). The last one is two wheel driving unlocked at the end of LA. Then Paris and on is all about just unlocking cars and the races are both long (no laps) and challenging with some realy good places to catch massive air.

I warned before that there is nothing realy realistic about the game but at least your car can get realy beat up unlike some racing games out there. Damage does not affect performance, sadly, but that can be overlooked.

Get the cars unlocked then get on-line for some capture the flag fun. You can set up a CTF match on your box to play against the computer in the arcade mode menu.

Oh, and menus take some getting used to. There are a HELL of a lot more options that it will look like at first glance. Most of the online games were just Cruise games, people may not have figgured out how to set the game options for on-line. That was the way it was with the PS2.

I think it would be cool if we all brought our x-box's with us to the LAN party on the 14th. We all have VIVO ports on our video cards so we can use our monitor's as a passthrough. Oh yeah make sure you bring HALO and a extra controller.

I think Stitch needs to cheet his way through the single player campaign and all the circuit races to unlock all the cars. Believe me, online CTF is where it is at. Voice coms made all the difference from the PS version.

I was in a great 2 on 2 CTF game tonight. Me (gamer tag: DreadFreak... dumb name, I know but I thought I could change it) and my teamate seemed to know the game pretty well. The other guys were good too. We kicked their butts twice but it was not easy. My teamate knew the map quite well. I forgot his game tag though. Most people are probably smacktards though.

We were playing LA/Parris vehicles only wich is fine by me. But the Tokyo vehicles are the shiznat in looks and performance. Well at least the last 4 or so look realy good and the Tokyo bike is fantastic as it was on the PS2. Bikes take getting used to.

"Power ups" make for some kick ass fun.

    Here are the cheat codes:

Go to the options menu. Scroll left or right across the game options and sound options (where I highly suggest you shut off the music) and past the credits to the cheat option. In there you enter the cheat codes found here: For the PS2 but they are exactly the same for the XBOX.

Good luck and try CTF at least against the CPU to get a feel (turn off traffic). I have cheated my way into Tokyo already. Still have a ways to go to get the last car, rocket car and the Paris and Tokyo cop cars.
