That review is strange.

Sort of good and bad things. Though as I read into it a review of someone who just started a game. Hmm. I have read many amature reviews of EQ that say many of the same things, IE "all you do is kill rats and bats, and if that bores you there are beetles and wolves" and such like complaining about a lack of content.

Maybe there is a lot he and others just have not seen. In dev chats I have read (ok, the one chat I skimmed through) they did say they had dungeons with some itemization and they were going to expand that and add more. It also said new players will be just doing hunting missions to destroy lair things for stuff, but it said you skin the animals or something for loot as critters have no pockets.

Dunno, I am kind of intrigues and that review did not put me off completely. Sounds like it has potential, who knows? Heck, I have not even played EQ or PS lately. No reason to pick up another game.

I do work with a couple guys who play on the "Flurry" server and they are just loving the game and think the missions are repetetive but OK and higher level missions are apparently different than the low level stuff. Tom has been to Jabba's palace and while it is buggy it is there.

I played SWG for a few nights now, and I'm having fun. I'll post a more detailed review once I get into the game a bit more.

I have new respect for The Great Cornholio because I, too, needed TP for my bunghole.

Well, I had to find out. I got the game, I just had to see. I realy shouldn't have, it's much better than I thought but it is still early for me.

I need to explore it a little more to realy form and opinion. I have seen a few bugs already but not earthshattering... yet.

Framerates are OK and I do have a good time on the missions, destroy missions. I'm not interested in crafting.

Created a Trandoshan (sp?). Lizardman, bought a rifle in the bazaar easy enough, already leveled my first box in the rifle skill, but I see the higher "levels" of the skills in the tree are pretty steep xp wise.

The skill tree is incredible, realy it is.
