Desert Combat Night

Join us for Desert Combat (the total conversion for Battlefield 1942) action this Wednesday, July 16 at 9 PM Eastern.

To get Desert Combat, go to http://www.desertcombat.com. Make sure you are patched to version 1.4 of BF1942.

The server will be August Knights Desert Combat at IP 12.165.52.152.

We will be using Ventrilo for voice communications (http://www.ventrilo.com). The IP for the Ventrilo server is the same as that of the Desert Combat server (12.165.52.152). There will be no password on the Ventrilo server for the evening.

The highest I saw was 49, but we probably hit 50 at one point or another. It was getting really hard to get ahold of a vehicle, but it was fun!

Palooka - it probably would be a good idea to institute no-tk for these events... Sad to say, but a few jerks can make it sucky for everyone.

That is one awesome mod. Great games last night. There were a few TKing idiots, but I don't think they were near as bad as they could have been. Palooka did an excellent job of booting them before they could get too disruptive while I was there. I'll definitely be playing a lot more DC.

I've got it downloaded! I'll install it and get it ready!!! But I think I'll start out playing Ravenshield to get the night going first.!
