    Direct X 8

    Is it possable to uninstall it?
    I installed it today and now all my games stop responding.

    I've got the lateist drivers, I don't know what it is.

    I got that from a post from tweedledum.... Just know that when you uninstall it somre of the dx8 files will still be there.. you'll be fine unless you wanna run 3d sounds through direct sound.

    What do you mean by "stop responding", Drewski? When specifically does it happen? Is it all games or just a few? I'm running DX 8 on WinMe at home, and I've yet to run across a problem with it. Did you download it direct from the MS website? (I installed it with a game, Giants I think.)
