Disappointment....

I guess it's time to cancel my PS subscription. Squad "X" is switching to TeamSpeak for ops and no way I'm putting that POS Virus back on my PC! I had to do a reformat on 2 different occasions because of that damn software and I'm not doing it again. Not to mention that it's vastly inferior in quality to Ventrilo.

Anyways... since I don't have a squad to play with, no sense in keeping a subscription going. I still enjoy playing PS quite a bit and not to rehash it, I still find it disappointing that AK isn't involved..

Oh well, its BF1942 SW night!

I'm finding that PS is getting pretty darn repetetive. I've already cancelled my PS subscription although I'm still good until December. I will occasionally hop into PS from tim eto time but unless something compelling happens to the game I won't be continuing.

Right now I'm really enjoying getting back into BF1942. Did I mention that Secret Weapons is great and it's on sale this week?

I just checked my account and I paid for 3 months, it expires on September 21st.

I cancelled too. It just got old taking the same look-alike bases over and over again.

I agree. All the bases and towers are just too similar. They could have made them unique - some outside, some undergound, some buried into a mountain, some submerged, more tunnels, etc to keep things a little different. It was fun while it lasted.. I just wish it lasted longer for me.

They should've hired us for the design team. We'd have many unique and interesting bases, a playable alien menace race, unlimited advancement and unique artifact weapons.

Did you guys read about the upcoming additions including the Navy and Underground areas?

No...but I have the game until December so we'll see what they can do before then.

What did I say 3 months ago!!! I knew it towards the end of the beta that it was gonna be a 13$ a month PITA (Pain In The A$$) BUT nnnnnnooooooooo no one listens to ol StitchJones. The only way I get anyones attention is by TK'ing someone :-)

From what I heard they are looking at Underground, Sea, Underwater, and a Space expansion.

The first expansion is Core Combat due out later this fall/winter:

Six new massive underground war zones
New Ancient-technology vehicles and weapons which can be used by all Empires
Head-to-Head Urban style combat in subterranean cities
Unique alien complexes to explore and conquer
New underground environments from volcanic lava flows to ice caverns
Ancient technology can be used by all Empires to upgrade existing surface level facilities

I just got the Steam Client from fileplanet, so I'm currently getting the Counter-Strike 1.6. I'm up to give it shot at some point. Keep me posted.
