If I had or ever build a LAN PC, I'd attend one of these things some day. I may ask the wife for an X-Box with a Linksys wireless adapter for it for Christmas.

CS is not even comparable to PONG, so don't go there. It has a ton of life left and for a squad v squad shooter competition it's still a lot of fun. The statistics that you can pull out of it are way cool too.

Thanks Squidly! - That's very nice of you. I'll take you up on that offer one of these times!

I can't - I have WAY too much going on this Saturday. But I will make one of these events. Hopefully as fall comes and yard / housework is cut down, I'll be able to free up a weekend of MBA work and attend one. As long as we don't miss any 'Hawks games Squidly!

It's not THIS Saturday. It's NEXT Saturday, the 27th. You know, the Seahawk's BYE WEEK.

You won't find a better weekend this year.

Man.. that would be great. Let me see what I can do, but we are running out of weekends and I know my wife won't be happy about it since I have "several" jobs that haven't been done yet.

Just use the phrase: "Only weekend this year I'll be able to do this..."

Well I just got off the phone with the boss and it's a "No Go". We have a dinner engagement that I must go to. Steak and Ale, not even one of my favorite restaurants!

Actually every month. Located in lovely Rotterdam, NY (near Albany) and located jsut off the New York State Thruway. You can even crash at my house for the night if you don't mind sleeping on an air mattress or bunking with Squid.

Wow! who would have thunk it, the BunkerLAN actually causes a stir on the AK forums. As one of the "Powers that be" who is apparently "Greedy" I'd like to add that any and all opinions about the LAN events are welcomed and required to keep it working. You guess are the people we are providing for. Even Stitch, who rarely makes it though I think it has less to do with the money and more to do with the time share agreement he has with his wife and his genitals.

Oh I should mention that we do reserve the right to mock after we listen to comments, sorry it's how I am.

On the plus side server new ideas have come from the players which we will be incorporating into the up coming events.

With that said we look forward the next LAN party on the 27th of Sept.

Umm... I would sleep in my car, in a dumpster, if you have a dog house or anywhere else that provides a more favorable location than that offered.

Yes, but the 27th is the only bye week for the Seahawks. Then you have the holidays and what not... just figured you'd find some excuse to wriggle out...
