I'm trying to gauge interest in an AK LAN party. I'm thinking that South Jersey would make a good location because it seems to be pretty central to most of the East Coasters.
This would be a great chance for AK to get together and meet face to face.
Any interest?

I would definitely be interested in coming to South Jersey, it's right across the bridge for me.

Typically folks bring their own systems. For the South Jersey one, I'd be able to provide an extra 2 on a "first come, first serve" basis.

In order for me to escape, i would be able to make a Nov. one if one was planned. OCT is not good for me at this point. But don't let me be the bearer of Scheduling.
Yeah, it wouldn't be in October anyway. I'm thinking that the Albany Lan is still the location for October.
BTW, the NJ lan won't cost $25 and includes a BBQ feast and a "night before trip to the strip-club".

Sounds like fun to me. Guess I'll have to install Half-Life and get some CS skills going between now and November/December/whenever it ends up being. I've been meaning to reinstall that, DoD, and some other things. Of course, since it's an AK gathering, we could also hook up some BF1942, Raven Shield, etc.
That said, wherever we end up being, I'd be looking for a place to crash, or failing that, perhaps someone to split a hotel room and keep costs down. I'm a cheapskate at heart (and I like to have extra $$ for beer and junk food)--but I don't snore and I'm neat.
We don't necessarilly have to play Counter-Strike. Since it will be AK we can choose whatever games we want (BF1942, RvS, etc).
