    Anyone know anything about it?

    It looks like a Desert Combat version of Battle for Europe. I've looked at and registered for BFE, but haven't tried it yet.

    It looks like it's a good way for an individual to play in a tournement when there isn't a lot of ladder activity going on.

    Wow, now this sounds pretty cool. Do you also get field commanders? One thing missing in 1942 (IMHO) is a field commander position for coordinating attacks and defense.
