Blood and guts litter this street in Tainan, Taiwan, after decomposing organs in the sperm whale in background caused it to explode.

Once moved to a nearby nature preserve, the male specimen -- the largest whale ever recorded in Taiwan -- drew the attention of locals because of its large penis, measured at some five feet, the Taipei Times reported.

"More than 100 Tainan city residents, mostly men, have reportedly gone to see the corpse to 'experience' the size of its penis," the newspaper reported.

I think I'll have to pop my copy of The Thing in the dvd player to take care of my Gore fettish until we can get some more stuff of this Whale... I think Squidly will agree with me on this one.

Actually, there is a movie out there of a 60's or 70's beached whale .... incident. A dead beached whale on the West Coast was an issue and they weren't sure what to do, so they called the hiway department out - afterall, they handle big stuff. Not sure what to do, the figured they'd blow it up with dynamite so that it'll get blasted into little chunks and then the wild life could eat it faster.

Amazingly enough, nobody vetoed this idea.

The local newstation got wind of it and thought it'd make great news, so they brought out the film crew. Everyone moved back a few hundred yards to be safe.

And what happened?

BOOOM!!!

Followed by 1+ton chucks of flying lard pelting the crowds. You can only see so much though, because about this time the lens goes blurry from being smacked by flying whale.
