Paintball

Airsoft is fun and all, but it's a niche market. It's hard to find equipment, the equipment is expensive, and there aren't a lot of fields to play in.

Paintball on the otherhand is widespread. You can find magazines on tactics at any newstand, there are public fields (even free ones) everywhere, the equipment is easy to find (Walmart, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc.) and it is very cheap.

Check out these fields in New Jersey.

This one is very close to where I live and has a ton of good reviews.

Heck, the field even has it's own website and they do rentals.

$32 for a "walk-on Sunday" including rental equipment--less if you've got your own gun. That's definitely within my price range and about 1-1.5 hours from my house--doable as a day trip. I'd be down for that just about anytime.

I would be interested. I know of a couple good paintball fields in eastern PA. I'll post a few links just as an FYI when I get home.

I think you guys should play after sundown in downtown Allentown, PA. Down on Hamilton Blvd after dark - man, that would be like recreating Half-Life!!

I stopped in at Dicks Sporting Goods today at lunch and they have a good selection of guns...from <$70 to over $250. Some top of the line stuff there too from the "big name companies"

They also have cleaning kits, ammo, cases, and protective gear. Basically you can set yourself up with everything in one place.

As long it's Half-Life 1 and not Half-Life 2. If it was Half-Life 2 we would have to wait 6 years before we could actually play it.

From the size of that gut and terrible skin color, it looks more to me how Squidly is gonna look. Cause I'll have him face down in the dirt, giving him execution style paintball torture. Yeah baby, who's your daddy and what does he do..... That's right, run from Stitch!!!
