Subject: Pizza Hut Order - Year 2010


Operator: "Thank you for calling Pizza Hut. May I have your national ID
number?"

Customer: "Hi, I'd like to place an order."

Operator: "May I have your NIDN first, sir?"

Customer: "My National ID Number, yeah, hold on, eh, it's

Operator: "Thank you, Mr. Sheehan. I see you live at 1742 Meadowland
Drive, and the phone number's 494-2366. Your office number over at Lincoln
Insurance is 745-2302 and your cell number's 266-2566. Which number are
you calling from, sir?"

Customer: "Huh? I'm at home. Where d'ya get all this information?"

Operator: "We're wired into the system, sir."

Customer: (Sighs) "Oh, well, I'd like to order a couple of your All-Meat
Special pizzas."

Operator: "I don't think that's a good idea, sir."

Customer: "Whaddya mean?"

Operator: "Sir, your medical records indicate that you've got very high
blood pressure and extremely high cholesterol. Your National Health Care
provider won't allow such an unhealthy choice."

Customer: "Damn. What do you recommend, then?"

Operator: "You might try our low-fat Soybean Pizza. I'm sure you'll like
it."

Customer: "What makes you think I'd like something ! like that?"

Operator: "Well, you checked out 'Gourmet Soybean Recipes' from your local
library last week, sir. That's why I made the suggestion."

Customer: "All right, all right. Give me two family-sized ones, then."

Operator: "That should be plenty for you, your wife and your kids,
sir. Your total is $49.99."

Customer: "Lemme give you my credit card number."

Operator: "I'm sorry sir, but I'm afraid you'll have to pay in cash. Your
credit card balance is over its limit."

Customer: "I'll run over to the ATM and get some cash before your driver
gets here."

Operator: "That won't work either, sir. Your checking account's
overdrawn."

Customer: "Never mind. Just send the pizzas. I'll have the cash ready. How
long will it take?"

Operator: "We're running a little behind, sir. It'll be about 45 minutes,
sir. If you're in a hurry you might want to pick 'em up while you're out
getting the cash, but carrying pizzas on a motorcycle can be a little
awkward."

Customer: "How the hell do you know I'm riding a bike?"

Operator: "It says here you're in arrears on your car payments, so your
car got repo'ed. But your Harley's paid up.

Customer: "@#%/$@&?#!"

Operator: "I'd advise watching your language, sir. You've already got a
July 2006 conviction for cussing out a cop."

Customer: (Speechless)

Operator: "Will there be anything else, sir?"

Customer: "Yes, I have a coupon for a free 2 liter of Coke".

Operator: "I'm sorry sir, but our ad's exclusionary clause prevents us
from offering free soda to diabetics."

Don't get me started. Wisconsin is one of four (4) states that you can't get a license to carry a concealed gun. Our liberal jerk of a governor is an avowed "people don't need guns" bastard and my rep is an elitist bastard who thinks only cops should be allowed to carry. We had a vote last week and the Senate overrode the governors veto to let us carry. It made it to the assembly, and the bastard bought one of the @$%@!# sponsors of the law to switch his vote and that one vote was enough to uphold the governors veto. So once again, we are one of 4 states that guarantees unarmed victims in the parking lots. Thanks to liberals.

Oh, and 6% of my income is taxed by my liberal state to pay for their lame liberal vote buying policys.

Some people adopt a child in a third world nation, for "under a dollar a week." They receive pictures, letters, and updates on there education. I, however, have adopted a welfare case that gets government money (my money) because they do not chose to get their lazy butt out of bed and go to work. Yeah, its tax season and 27% of my income I never see. I am penalized for dragging my butt out of bed every day in the pursuit of happiness. It's just the way it is. All I ask is a photo of the bum I am currenty sponsoring. Maybe a thank you? Instead, they (liberals) ban against the government that gives them a free ride. I say make them clean something, anything, for even eight hours a week! I hope I am never in a position to require government aid, because it would be a horrible feeling. I realize that there are many people out there sponging off the system, but there have to be some who need welfare to survive (i.e. those with chronic illness, disability, etc.).

I cannot pass judgment myself, because I have never had to make that choice. I do feel that the welfare system was improved while the Sexual Predator in Chief was president ... he did make more of a focus on workfare and getting able-bodied people off the welfare rolls - one of his few good decisions.

In the end, the conflict between conservatives and liberals comes down to a choice between self-reliance and personal responsibility (conservatism) and groupthink/social ontract theory (liberalism or their new buzzword, progressive).

In my opinion, most liberals would sell the Bill of Rights down the river for the illusion of safety. Of course, given all this Patriot Act crap, it seems apparent that some 'conservatives' would do the same.

Me, all I want is to be left alone. But neither of the two main parties really stands for personal freedom anymore, at least not at the national level.

Actually I should clairfy myself. I am not trying to get people angry, I am trying to see if my views are off base. However, if I cause any hurt feeling between members, I am truly sorry. If the other Knights feel that I approach a subject in the wrong manner then I will try to change the way that I post my threads in a more gentle (er.. um.. liberal manner) manner. hehe....

This country is at a great fork in the road, more so then ever before. I think that we are finding that both parties are doing things that the average person does not like. I guess in my case I go right simply because I do not believe in the welfare system we have installed, I am not stupid enough to believe that our law system DID NOT come from the Ten Commandments, and like Kidd said I believe in getting out of bed and going to work every morning. I do not believe in gun control, rather gun SAFETY.
I do not believe how all these Liberal Judges are changing laws or let Terrorists off the hook. That really gets me going.

When I started this post I wanted someone to say something. Pix thought it was stupid, I respect that. Other members took the opportunity to speak their minds. Either way it is obvious that the Liberals have not been able to steal atleast one good thing from us yet: Our Opinions...

Hypocricy abounds in both political parties, and it's pretty obvious to anyone who looks objectively.

Personally, I think that the two parties need each other, if only to balance out the fringe ideas of each. So no, I wouldn't want to live in a "purely conservative" country.

I will say this - I will never vote for a Democrat who is weak on defense and clueless about the proper way to deal with terrorists.
