    Forums and cookies

Here is a good one we have a private forum for our sales people on our company's website. Everyone can access it except for four people. BTW all of our sales force is off site so no one in on our LAN.

We run our website from a hosting company.
They are all four are running Windows systems. The yare all in different parts of the country.

When they access our forum it will accept the lgin then tell them they are not a registered member?

I can login and use their username and password no problem and post just fine.

I went through their internet options with each one of them. They all have cookies enabled.

Here is the reason why I think it has something to do with the settings or the PC itself per say:

One of our sales people has two PC's from their home, both are Windows XP boxes.
One will get them in, one will not. I figured if it was a network issue then there is no way that they will get access with one PC and not other.....

    Any comments or suggestions????

If they are all windows XP make sure ICF(internet connection firewall) is not enabled as a quick test. OEM installs have it enabled by default.

no he means check to see if the firewall is blocking cookies (although the only firewall i know that does this is zonealarm). windows xp's firewall is based off tiny personal firewall.

Right click my network places then properties, then right click local area connection and properties then click on the advanced tab.
