To all the AK'ers that joined in on the closed practice on Wednesday, I would like to extend my thanks for a great couple of hours of BF. In fact, I would say the Battle of 73 was the most fun I've ever had gaming online. A combination of well balanced teams, good communications and no baby-sitting made the match long (what was it... over 1 hr?) and enjoyable. This is why I bought BF and definetly why I joined AK. A great bunch of guys.

To all of those folks out there that enjoy playing on the AK server, thank you for your patience while we had a little team practice. I strongly recommend that if you think you would fit in with us, that if you enjoy BF (or other games) and aren't a complete smack-tard, put in an application. The August Knights are definetly the best clan out there. Fair and fun play is what it's all about. I'm glad that I found other guys that share my interests and host a great server! Bravo Zulu to the August Knights!

I agree with everything Nuts said (except the ass-kicking part).

As his teammates, it might be said that we put him in the position to kick ass. So to a degree his success is a result of our skill. Ergo, we're awesome.

I had devilish fun using the dune buggy and C4 to harass the northern base flag on 73 Easting. Thanks to all who played, it was a blast.

Thats was one of the best nights thus far. I agree with Squidly though he and I were the frontline so anyone that made it to Nuts was already a hurtin' pup. Great round by all!

Faxman, you were a royal pain in the a**. That said, I've never had near that much trouble defending the northern base. If it wasn't Fax, it was all the others in their damn armor knocking Cheese and I out. Very good fun. I'm only thankfull that Katana was grounded!! that guy and his choppers (i oughta...) kidd

Having coordinated activity with Ventrillo really makes a world of difference. All of us talking to each other, with Kidd on foot and the rest of us in armor made for an effective defense in the NW. It was tremendous fun.

It's also intersting to see how much the game dynamic was changed by only having about 15 people total playing. In Ishalla (sp?) Valley in particular armor became much more effective because you didnt' have to worry about being swarmed by dozens of guys with rocket launchers anymore. Because of this the T-72 really shined - allies were screwed with just the humble Bradly.

But the best part was that everyone was focused. You didn't have lone-wolf players wasting time sniping. Nor did you have half the team standing around waiting for the next aircraft to spawn. Everyone spent every moment working on the objectives as a team and it was a heck of a lot of fun.

I wish I didn't have to leave, sounds like I left when it was starting to get good. Inshalla was pretty demoralizing for the team I was on, good to hear it got better.

I deserted the team based on Un-Zen feelings that were invading my body. it's rough to practice after Yoga. I'll be back on tonight to kick Gunny and Squidly's butt!
Hopefully Govt. Cheese will be on to provide the talk radio background noise for us as well.
