City of Heroes!

This is the next game I am realy looking forward to. Superhero based MMORPG, very simple, no economy, no crafting, just beating up bad guys. There is also no PvP, everyone is a good guy. Aparently keeping the game simple has allowed them to concentrate on things other MMORPG's tend to forget about, you know, like having fun in the game.

Any how, here are some great write ups on it. The more I read about it the more I like. Especialy the Sidekick feature that allows high levels to group with a low level character. When that happens the low level character is given stats up close to what the high leveler has so they can do things together. The lower level character will still only get xp appropriate to their level.

When this game comes out, I will likely be there day 1. I mean, the chance to be a superhero? And the ability to FLY? Man I am all over that.

One downside, there are no capes yet. They wanted to get capes and wings to look right instead of just tacked on so they are going to devote time to get cape flowing effects right for every move possible in the game.
