Minimap question.

Has anyone figured out why the towers show up in the minimap as a radar-dish-shaped icon?

I've even found that when you shoot them, they show the X in your reticle that indicates a registerd hit.

I've tried everything but can't figure out what the hell the towers are for.

Okay, I figured it out. The tower icons on Flaming Dart indicate destroyable spawn points. Once you blow up the tower, you not only lose the spawn there but also the vehicles in the area.

There's a tower for helos, jets, and boats. After you blow the tower, the corresponding vehicles will eventually disappear.

Anything that adds a strategic layer is cool with me--an advance airstrike on the towers softens the base defenses for easier capturing.

I was reading that this Mini map is supposed to be like a objective map. You have to destroy all three of the towers to win the game.

I just wish the damn mini map had map coordinatates on it.
